On an unrelated note, [livejournal.com profile] goteam and I made 2 pumpkin pies on Thursday. 48 hours later, we had none. It turns out we consume that substance at the rate of .5pppppd

You are being intensely silly.

our party came up with a necessary ratio of about .2-.3ppppd, as we had about 30 folks and 40-45 pies to consume over 4 days. But we also had a rapidly decreasing number of people and a not-so-rapid decreasing number of pies.

Not Unrelated!

pppppd is a "term" or "nomenclature" is it not? Do you just expect everyone to KNOW that it's pumpkin pie per person per day? "....generally springs from, and always leads to, confusion of ideas."

Or of pie. I mean it COULD have been Plastic Push Pins Per Person-Day, could it not? Or Pretty Platters of Peppers Per Person-Day. I suppose. Well, maybe not that.

yum yum. I wish I had even 0.2pppppd over this Thanksgiving weekend but unfortunately I consumed at the rate of 0pppppd. Boo!
