Juggling Performance

The University of Oregon Juggling Club, of which I am club coordinator, has been asked to perform for Special Olympics of Oregon athletes before they line up to march into the stadium.

We're in, but this is a bit scary, as it will be the biggest audience I have ever been in front of EVER and I'll be the guy in charge. They want a 30-45 minute show this March 11th, which is kind of a big undertaking. It's a bit scary, and a bit large, but we're in!

That? Is. Awesome!

I'm helping organize the 2006 nomadic festival (this november). you should come down for it. :)

For your show, you should do the animal tricks, of course ending in the rhino. :P

I can't do the rhino for jugglers - I got it from Charlie Dancey's Encyclopaedia of Ball Juggling! :)

I think it may have plenty of appeal for the SOoR though...

I'll need to talk at least a little - 45 minutes is a LOT of juggling if you don't take a break to say something every now and then.

psst

That sounds wonderful, but Tracy's parents arrive in town that day, so we will be in "entertain grownups" mode in Eugene. Which is sadly very different from "happily gorge on pie" mode in Portland.

We, not I

Peter, that's really great. Remember that you've got a whole club of people to do stuff for this...including in the show. Delegate. Task. Be ruthless and unreasonable...and really friendly, like you always are!

Best of luck! 45 minutes is a lot to juggle (sorry), but that does sound very exciting, both the opportunity and the event
